Nyon Estylo

Nyon EstyloWhen we think of technology, we think of wires buzzing and high speed information traveling through cables and connections that we can’t even see. It’s all fascinating, but what if we merged technology with basics that we are already familiar with and materials that we can fully trust and rely on? NYON is a company that is doing just that by creating wooden styluses that not only work, but that look good too!

The Estylo, a.k.a. The Pencil of Now, is a wooden dual tip magnetic stylus that was designed to work with the iPhone, iPad, Android, and any other touch screen device. The tip works in a variety of angles and it has been designed so that it will never scratch your screen. Aside from the super sleek design and functionality that the stylus offers, it comes in brilliant and vibrant color choices.

Most all styluses work and look the same. Chances are, you’ve come across or maybe even own a circular stylus that is heavy and made of metal or a cheap plastic material. Why settle for the same thing that everyone else has when you can own something special and unique. Stand out and get a product worth having. It’s stylish, sleek, and does its job.

Lights Siberia

Have you been searching for something new and original to listen to lately? Does everything on the radio sound the same and leave you hanging? If you answered yes to the previous questions, don’t worry the search is over. Canadian electropop star Lights recently released her second album, Siberia, and the sound is bigger and better than before.

Even if you are not familiar with Lights, this album is a great way to get introduced to her unique sound. It begins with title track, Siberia, and it immediately sets the album up for success. Her vocals are light and almost ghost-like along with lyrics that will get stuck in your head (in a good way). Lights also incorporates dubstep on a few tracks. At first, I thought this would affect her soft vocals, but it adds an element of surprise. Siberia has several tracks that are worth mentioning; for example, Toes, Banner, And Counting…, and Peace Sign. Each of these songs has a good beat, powerful lyrics, and conveys an emotion.

Not all artists are lucky enough to produce an album that has something for everyone. This album is pop, electro, indie pop, dubstep, and it also features rap. I highly recommend purchasing Siberia on iTunes so you can experience it for yourself.
